BKC RAVEは、BKCにアツくなれる空間を仮説的に生み出すことを目指したプロジェクションマッピングによるインスタレーションである。BKCの噴水はキャンパスの中心に位置し様々な通りの結節点となっている。この噴水を濁らせ、プロジェクションマッピングによって様々なデジタルコンテンツを噴水と周辺樹木に投影することで、BKCの結節点に踊りだしたくなるような空間を生み出す。モックアップによるケーススタディによって、少ない予算内で防水や排熱など多数の制約条件をクリアし、目指した空間体験を実現した。
BKC RAVE is an installation project that aimed to create a space where people can feel the heat of BKC through projection mapping. The fountain in BKC is located at the center of the campus and serves as a node for various streets. By projecting various digital contents onto the fountain and surrounding trees through projection mapping, the fountain is disturbed to create a space where people would want to dance and have fun at the node of BKC. Through a case study using a mock-up, the project achieved the desired spatial experience by clearing many constraints such as waterproofing and heat dissipation within a limited budget.
私たち建築計画研究室はプロジェクションタワーの設計施工と看板製作を行った。プロジェクターを入れるボックスの設計では、サッシに用いられる二次防水の考え方を踏襲し、プロジェクターの排熱フローや投影、配線とのバランスを取りながら、モックアップでの検討を重ね、設計を行った。
Our architectural planning and research office designed and constructed a projection tower and created a signboard. In designing the box for the projector, we followed the concept of secondary waterproofing used in window frames, and conducted mock-up studies to balance the heat dissipation flow of the projector and the projection and wiring. Based on these studies, we developed the design.
