デジタル寺子屋による2040年のライフスタイル
茨木市は増加する空き家と退職するプログラマーの行先の課題を抱えている。この課題に対して、空き家を改修したデジタル空き家「DAKIYA」を提案する。DAKIYA では、訪れた小中学生が退職プログラマーの指導員のもとで体験型の情報教育を受ける。複数のDAKIYA は市内にネットワークを形成し、多様な子どもたちが自由に選択できる居場所となる。
Ibaraki City is grappling with the issue of increasing vacant houses and the destinations of retiring programmers. In response to this challenge, we propose a digital vacant house called "DAKIYA." At DAKIYA, elementary and junior high school students can receive experiential IT education under the guidance of retired programmers. Multiple DAKIYAs form a network within the city, providing diverse children with a place they can freely choose as their own.
DAKIYA は、使われていない空き家を改修してデジタルコンテンツを導入した、子どもたちの情報教育の場所であり、多様な居場所でもある。DAKIYAでは、訪れた小中学生が退職プログラマーの指導員と対話しながら各々の勉強ややりたいことの学習を進める。DAKIYA は複数できることで小規模な単位で大きなネットワーク形成し、多様な小中学生が自由に選択できる居場所になる。例えば学校にいけない子どもたちが昼間に訪れたり、学校帰りに友達と一緒に訪れて、プログラミングはもちろん、映像制作や3D プリンターなどで遊びながら学ぶ。こうしてDAKIYA が茨木市の子どもたちに身近になることで、空き家の認知度の向上もはかることができる。
DAKIYA is a place for children's information education, where unused vacant houses are renovated and equipped with digital content, serving also as diverse hangout spots. At DAKIYA, visiting elementary and junior high school students engage in dialogue with retired programmer instructors, advancing their individual studies and pursuing their interests. By establishing multiple DAKIYAs, a vast network is formed on a small scale, creating a space that diverse elementary and junior high students can freely choose. For example, children who can't attend school might visit during the day, or after school with friends, to learn through play with programming, video production, 3D printers, and more. In this way, by making DAKIYA familiar to the children of Ibaraki City, it can also contribute to raising awareness of the vacant house issue.
