着替え、体験するクローゼット
「GINZA CLOSET」は、服とアクティビティをセットにした"着替え、体験するクローゼット"である。それは、銀座のアパレルに手を伸ばすきっかけであり、銀座をもっと賑わいのある街にするきっかけでもある。建築には、ブランド企業やリサイクル企業から提供してもらった服をレンタルすることができ、サブスクライバーはこの建築に立ち寄り、着替えることができ、同時にスポーツやサウナ、DIYなどのスペースが利用できる。衣服のレンタルとアクティビティが組み合わさることで、家で着替えるのではなく、銀座で着替える新たなライフスタイルが生まれる。例えば、授業終わりの大学生はこの建築へ行き、スポーツ着に着替え、サウナへ行って別の服に着替えて銀座デートへ向かうようなことができる。
Dress-up and Experience Closet
"GINZA CLOSET" is a "dress-up and experience closet" that combines clothing and activities. It serves as a catalyst for people to reach out to apparel in Ginza and for Ginza to become a more vibrant city. The architecture allows subscribers to rent clothes provided by brand companies and recycling companies. They can stop by this building, change their clothes, and use spaces for activities such as sports, sauna, and DIY. By combining clothing rental and activities, a new lifestyle is created where people change clothes in Ginza instead of at home. For example, a university student who finishes classes can go to this building, change into sportswear, go to the sauna, change into a different outfit, and head out to a Ginza date.
建築形態は、オープンな建築であるため、銀座に多くある閉鎖的なファサードに対して開放的であり、衣服を積み重ねたような流線型の積層で構成されている。また、それぞれのフロアのスラブは、布のように捲る・弛ませる・引っ張る・包む・切り抜く・沈ませるといった操作によって変形され、衣服のような安心感のある多様な空間を生み出している。
The architectural form is open and thus, in contrast to the closed facades commonly found in Ginza, has a feeling of openness. It is composed of streamlined layers resembling stacked clothing. Additionally, the slabs on each floor are transformed through operations such as rolling, loosening, pulling, wrapping, cutting, and submerging, creating a variety of spaces that provide a sense of comfort like clothing.
